Minor nuisances apart, fenomenal PDF reader, everything I expected and sometimes a little more. At least this folder could be accesible in the tablet itself, but I guess its probably a limitation/security feature from Android. But this (bug? feature?) also has saved me from time to time when I thought I had lost some precious (and usually large!) annotated PDF that didn't upload for reasons unknown. doesn't delete them after the upload! So from time to time I have to connect my Tablet on the PC and manually delete all those junk copies (sometimes a dozen for the same file!) that rests on memory just occupying precious space. It should have a SAVE button that allows me to manually save/sync updates to the file, as sometimes it just does not autosave.Īnother thing, but this is actually a double edged sword, is that Xodo always saves in a hidden "cache" documents before uploading and. Sometimes Xodo is really frustrating to use, specially for large files. You can use the plus (+) icon beside the tools to perform more functions on your PDF. Use the editing tools that appear at the bottom of your screen to highlight, draw, and otherwise annotate. Hope u enjoyed my post, its my first time ever. Tap the marker tip icon on the upper right side of your screen. These changes are synchronized to my cloud and i can easily share them, hand them in for evaluation reasons and so on. annotate your score by drawing with your finger, organize scores into. And most important, it simply opens the file out of your filesystem and saves changes back on the original file. Look for the sharing icon (see Figure 8-7) and tap. Its very powerful and has every tool u might want to change and annotate a pdf. Note: To save a PDF and allow annotations to be edited later, choose one of the following: File > Save, File > Export, or File > Export to PDF. Use the tools in the toolbar to mark up the PDF (or use the Touch Bar ). This way you can make changes and work with them without any local copy bullshit, Onedrive usually causes.įor the annotations I use Xodo pdf. In the Preview app on your Mac, click the Show Markup Toolbar button (if the Markup toolbar isn’t showing). The App syncs your files on your device like they are normal local data in backgroud and you can access them via any filebrowser. Its not free, but 8€ is a fair lifetime price i think. You need 2 Apps for that: Autosync and Xodo dpf.Īutosync offers folder based cloud synchronization with most services, for me its Onedrive. Furthermore I want them to be saved and synchronized over my cloud service without any additional work, like you can do on a windows PC. Many Android PDF readers that do the job just fine on Chromebooks, but I personally found Xodo to be the most robust for Chrome OS. I hate all those stupid apps which need to import and convert your pdfs so that they cant be easily shared anymore. Key point is, that i want to keep the wonderful pdf file format. Especially for use in school, university etc. I just wanted to share my experience with pdf annotation since it seems to be a common question.
